Your Appointment
Message us on WhatsApp at +65 8930 8973 or use the booking form on the brows page. Tell us a little about what you're after — the technique you're considering, any concerns, and the timeline you're working with. We usually reply within a few hours and we never push you towards anything. If you'd like a free 15-minute video consultation before committing to an appointment, just ask.
Once you've decided on a date, we'll send you a confirmation with the appointment details and a small deposit link to secure the slot (the deposit goes towards your final payment). We'll also email you a pre-appointment guide that explains what to do in the days leading up — and what to avoid. If you need to reschedule, just give us 24 hours' notice and we'll move things around without any fuss.
Two days before your appointment, ease off anything that thins your blood — alcohol, caffeine, aspirin, fish oil, and vitamin E supplements. These can cause more bleeding during the procedure, which affects pigment retention. The day before, avoid sun exposure on your face. And the morning of, eat a proper meal — a 2-hour session feels much longer on an empty stomach.
Come bare-faced or with minimal brow makeup so we can see your natural hair growth clearly. If you have reference photos of brow shapes you like, bring those along — they help us understand your taste even if the exact shape won't suit your bone structure. Arrive about 10 minutes early so we can get you settled without eating into consultation time. And please eat something beforehand — a 2-hour session on an empty stomach is no fun for anyone.
Your appointment runs about 2 to 2.5 hours total. Here's what to expect:
We start with face mapping — measuring your bone structure, brow bone, and facial proportions to find a shape that genuinely belongs on your face. Then we have an honest conversation about what you're after: thicker, more defined, softer? We'll also look at your skin type and lifestyle so we can recommend the right technique. This part sets the tone for everything, so we never skip or rush it.
Using a soft pencil, we draw the brow shape directly onto your skin so you can see exactly what the finished result will look like. We adjust height, thickness, arch position, and tail length one change at a time — and we keep redrawing until you're completely happy. You'll have a mirror the entire time. Nothing starts until you say yes, and we genuinely mean that.
We apply a medical-grade topical numbing cream across the brow area and let you relax while it takes full effect — usually about 15 minutes. Most clients describe the sensation afterwards as a light scratching or mild pressure, nothing sharp. If you're worried about pain, this step is the reason not to be. We reapply numbing between passes too, so comfort stays consistent throughout.
This is where it all comes together. We work stroke by stroke, building density and shape gradually rather than all at once. Every few minutes we pause, let you look, and ask how you're feeling. If anything's uncomfortable, we stop and reapply numbing. The pace is deliberately slow — good brow work is about precision, not speed. By the end, the shape you approved in the mirror is now a part of you.
Mirror time — this is the moment most clients break into a grin. We clean the area gently, let you see the full result, and make any fine adjustments if a stroke needs sharpening or the tail wants a tiny bit more definition. The colour will look bolder right now than it will at full heal; we'll explain exactly how it softens over the next few weeks so there are no surprises.
Before you leave, we walk you through every stage of the healing process — what's normal, what's not, and exactly what to do each day. You'll go home with a printed aftercare guide and a healing kit that includes everything you need for the first week. We also send a digital copy to your phone so you can reference it any time. And if anything comes up during healing, you can always message us directly.
Your brows will look noticeably darker than the final result — about 30 to 40% bolder. There may be slight swelling and tenderness, which usually settles within 24 hours. Keep the brows dry, apply the aftercare ointment we provide using a clean cotton swab, and avoid touching the area with your hands. No makeup on or around the brows.
Light flaking begins. Tiny scabs will form and fall away on their own — this is the surface skin healing over the pigment beneath. Do not pick, scratch, or peel. If you remove a scab early, you can pull pigment out with it and create patchy spots. Itching is normal. Keep applying ointment sparingly. Showering is fine, but avoid direct water on the brows.
This is the phase that scares everyone. The colour appears to fade dramatically or disappear entirely. Don't panic. The pigment hasn't gone anywhere — it's settling beneath a fresh layer of skin that's slowly becoming translucent. This is a normal stage of healing and it happens to every client. Resist the urge to message us in alarm (we promise it's coming back).
The pigment blooms back from underneath as the new skin clears. You'll see the actual healed colour for the first time — softer than day one, and likely close to what you'll have for the next year or two. Some areas may have healed lighter or unevenly. That's expected and exactly what your touch-up appointment is for.
This is included in your first session. We invite you back about 6 to 8 weeks after the initial procedure to perfect the result. We'll assess how the colour settled, fill in any spots that faded unevenly, sharpen lines if needed, and lock in the final shape. The touch-up takes about an hour and uses the same numbing protocol. Aftercare for the touch-up is identical but usually heals faster than the first round.
Brow embroidery is semi-permanent — the colour gradually fades over 12 to 24 months as your skin naturally exfoliates. The fade is even, so you'll never have a harsh line or odd patch as it ages. Most clients book a colour refresh about once every 12 to 18 months to keep things looking fresh, which is shorter and lower-cost than starting over. We'll send you a friendly reminder when it's time.
Once fully healed, your brows need almost no special care — but a few habits help them last. Apply SPF near (not directly on) the brows during sun exposure; UV is the biggest cause of premature fading. Avoid harsh exfoliants and retinoids directly on the brow area. And if you ever feel like your brows could use a refresh between sessions, a brow shaping appointment can extend the look of your embroidery for months.
